Howard Mann, MD

Dr. Howard Mann, M.D. is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Utah. He graduated from medical school at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. After residency training in Delaware and Connecticut, he completed a Fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then moved to Salt Lake City in 1985 and has been there since. Dr. Mann practices and teaches all aspects of Chest Radiology. He is a long-time member of the Society of Thoracic Radiology, participated in the National Lung Screening Trial and is a current member of the IPFNet consortium which conducts clinical trials in interstitial lung diseases. He has an ever-expanding teaching file that he wishes to utilize for the benefit of the larger radiology community.
